IFB presently benefits from this diverse funding base and especially the core funding of its closest partner-UK Impact Foundation (UKIF). Apart from UKIF, IFB received funding from Kadoorie Charitable Foundation, Stiftung Worldwide Investments,  Hellen Keller International, Handicap International, Save the Children-Sweden, OXFAMGB, DANIDA, Duncun Brothers (Bangladesh) LTD, British High Commission-Dhaka, Australian High Commission-Dhaka, Impact Forum Norway and HSBC.

IFB gains many non-financial benefits from working with a range of partners, through the exchange and input of information, new ideas and policies, technical and other expertise.
