The boat hospital moved to “Jhalokati”, a district in southern Bangladesh

Since its inception in 1999, ‘Jibon Tari’ has been providing specialized health care services for the prevention and cure of avoidable disabilities in remote rural areas along the major rivers of Bangladesh.
On 1st March, after the completion of its operation in Babuganj Upazilla of Barishal district, it moved to a new location in Jhalokati district on the bank of Sugondha River.
After taking the necessary preparations and setting up camps for the patients on the shore ‘Jibon Tari’ will start its operation on 6th March 2021. The people of Jhalokati are very excited to see ‘Jibon Tari’ for the first time. The local newspaper published a feature story on ‘Jibon Tari’ on its arrival.
