Abul kalam (70) and Jahan Ara Begum (60) are couple for the last 45 years, they are living in Shantahar village of Pirojpur district Jahan Ara is simply a housewife. Abul Kalam was a productive farmer. With all their hard labor and effort, the kalam couple raised up their 5 children. All of them are married and busy with their work. Kalam-Jahan enjoying their retired life with their grandchildren of different ages. For the last few years the couple were experiencing dim vision in their eyes. As they are retired, they had to depend on their children but due to low vision they became fully dependent and problem aroused, they became so upset and felt themselves of no value in the family.

The Kalam couple visited Jibon Tari. which was anchored nearby their home and the doctor of Jibon Tari identified them as cataract patients and suggested for operations.On due date they had their operation on Jibon Tari. Jahan Ara had operation in her right eye and Abul Kalam had operation in his left eye. Finally, Kalam-Jahan Ara couple regained their eyesight and was happy to return to their home, they cordially thanks IMPACT "Jibon Tari" for restoring their eyesight.
